English Medium: Film Review

It was shown in Hindi Medium that how parents try to get admission in English medium and expensive schools. The English medium depicts the temptation of students to study abroad.

Director Homi Adzania has shown this with a comedy which makes the audience laugh and tells that even though English is spoken abroad, our country is great. With this, more things are included in the film.

Champak Bansal (Irfan), who lives in Udaipur, has a sweet shop named Ghasiteram which is named after his grandfather. There are many shops in Udaipur under the name Ghasiteram and all the relatives are fighting in court over this name. In the court they quarrel and drink with Daru in the evening.

Champak has a daughter named Tarika (Radhika Madan) whose mother passed away in childhood. Tariqa's schooling is about to end and she wants to go to London for further studies. Tariqa achieves the qualification to go to England by getting good numbers, but a mistake by Champak puts the hard work on.

Champak decides to get Tariqa admitted to a college in London through the donation seat, but when he learns that it will cost Rs 1 crore, he senses.

In spite of all the difficulties, he goes to England with his daughter and gets caught in many difficulties there. Can he get his daughter admitted? Where does he get this much money? In which difficult circumstances does he get surrounded? Answers to these questions are found at the end of the film.

There are some flaws in the story. Just as Champak misses Tarika's chance to go to England, the reason is a bit strange and the writers could have thought of something else. Champak reaches England and gets entangled with the police there. Then changed name to England. All of this is done for comedy, but it reduces the credibility of the story.

Inspector Naina Kohli (Kareena Kapoor Khan) in London, who is suddenly helping Champak at the end of the film, is also shown in a hurry. Arriving in London, Champak is not shown doing much for his daughter's admission and the audience does not understand what Champak is doing there. The trek to Bablu (Ranveer Shorey) is also not written properly.

These minus points of the film are somewhat hidden under plus points. There are many scenes in the film that make a lot of laughs. One liners are fantastic. The jugalbandi of Champak and Gopi (Deepak Dobriyal) are superb. He has made many weak written scenes strong on the strength of his acting.

The relationship between father and daughter is also shown well in the film and there are many scenes that make you emotional. The child's insistence on 'freedom' at the age of 18 and the father's concern for him is shown in the film without any dialogue.

The father keeps the daughter's short dress in his pocket and the daughter takes that dress out of the pocket, there are many scenes in the film where dialogues are not used.
Excellent scenes continue to flow in the film, which are constantly entertaining, so your weaknesses in the story are less focused. Director Homi has to praise that he has hidden these shortcomings.

The biggest plus point of the film is the acting of its lead actors. If the actors are amazing, they raise the level of the film on the basis of their acting. This is what Irfan Khan has done. He has appeared on screen after a long time due to illness. It is unfortunate for the audience that they missed some of Irrfan's films.

His acting in English medium is excellent. Their emotional and comedy scenes are made on seeing them. They leave their impact in small scenes. Deepak Dobriyal plays him well and some scenes he stole from under Irrfan's nose.
Radhika Madan's acting is also good, although in some places she also went overacting. The director failed to use Kareena Kapoor Khan and Dimple Kapadia properly. Kareena's role is small, but it flatters whenever she comes on screen. His role was to be written better. Pankaj Tripathi laughs a lot in a small role. Ranveer Shorey does not leave much of an impact.

The film's lyrics may not be a hit, but carry the story forward. Background music also suits the film's theme. Overall, the English medium does its job despite the shortcomings.

Slap movie review: does it hurt

Slap movie review: does it hurt Samay Tamrkar | Revised Friday, 28 February 2020 (15:25 IST) the slap. Just such a thing. Can anyone divorce on this? Should it not be forgotten and proceeded? But it is about the hidden mindset behind the slap. The physical injury caused by a slap can be very minor, but the injury to the soul is very deep. Amrita (Taapsee Pannu )'s self-esteem falls into her eyes when her husband Vikram (Pavail Gulati) slaps her in front of everyone in a small talk party. Amrita's self-esteem gets hurt further when Vikram gets a little upset the next morning wondering what people will think of him? He does not care about what Amrita will think or what Amrita is thinking. Amrita does not have any existence or she has some thinking, this thing does not come in Vikram's mind. His life revolves only around himself. Vikram says that he is troubled by the disturbance going on in his office and for this reason his hand is raised on Amrita. Perhaps Vikr

Baghi 3: Movie Review

Baghi 3: Movie Review Samay Tamrkar | Last Updated: Friday, March 6, 2020 (17:57 IST) The success of the rebel series got its producers so excited that the third film of the series came in 4 years. The rebel 3 seems to be a victim of haste in order to take advantage of the popularity. It is such that in view of the demand in the market, the fruit is broken before ripening on the tree, so how can one expect the taste? The action scenes have been behind the success of Baaghi and in Baaghi 3, the focus is only on the action, but the story kept between the action is very weak. Due to the weak foundation of the story, the action building does not survive and the film is not able to entertain the audience. Sunny Deol leaves the injured to find his brother. Sunny Deol collides with Pakistan alone in Gadar. You remember these things while watching Rebel 3. The story of Baaghi 3 has been created by somehow adding highlights points of these films. Inspiration has also been ta
